This Clearwater homeowner's old ductless mini-split was done, so we replaced it with a new 18,000 BTU system. The old indoor head came down and the new wall bracket went up in its place, the new indoor head was wired and mounted, and a brand new line set was run through the wall to the outdoor unit, which we mounted on the existing wall bracket. Instead of letting the condensate drain wherever it could, we ran it in 3/4 inch PVC through the garage. The system was pulled into vacuum and checked on gauges at startup.
