The old air handler at this Auburndale home sat on an attic platform with a dirty blower and years of wear. Our crew opened it up, pulled it out and replaced the whole system: a 2 ton heat pump outside on a new pad and a new horizontal air handler with 5 kW of backup heat in the attic. The new unit sits in an emergency drain pan with float switches, the line set was reconnected at both ends, and the supply plenum was tied back into the existing ducts. A new thermostat went on the wall, the system was started up, and the crew walked the homeowner through the whole install before they left. The job was permitted.

Old attic unit removed and new system installed by one Protek crew.

โ€œCollins, Jacob and his crew were very professional, friendly and very clean. They answered all of my questions and walked me through the entire process of the install of my AC unit. I would definitely call them back. It was a pleasure working with them.โ€
