This Lakeland family needed a new AC system. The old air handler in the closet had a corroded cabinet and drain area, and the outdoor unit was due for replacement too. Installer Chandler Chapman replaced the whole system in one day: a 3 ton 14.3 SEER2 heat pump outside on a hurricane pad with tie-downs, and a new vertical air handler with 5 kW of backup heat in the closet. He built a new pressure-treated plywood top, added a new condensate pump, flushed and reconnected the line set, installed locking refrigerant caps and new breakers, and tied everything into the existing ducts and electrical. A new thermostat went on the wall, and he stayed until 8pm to make sure everything was running right.
Installed in one day; the installer stayed until 8pm to finish startup.
